Linda and I worshiped today at Lake Highlands Baptist Church (LHBC) this morning. When we moved to Dallas from Wamsutter, WY for me to get my Bible college education, this church called me to be their Associate Pastor of Outreach & Evangelism. That was 30 years ago. Amazing enough, some people still remembered us. One lady came up to me and said that she was 16 and in the youth group when I was there. Her parents were in my Tuesday night Bible study group. This woman is now a mother of a 22 yr. old, a 17 yr. old, and a 7 yr. old!

It was great sitting in the pew with my wife ... not worried about anything but getting a Word from the Lord. That was the strange part ... not having to preach and be responsible to make sure everything was working fine. We just worshiped.
