You are my Lord and my God,
Righteous, holy, yet full of love.
You have lifted me out of a horrible pit
and set my feet on The Rock.
You, and You alone have put a song in my heart
which proceeds from my mouth this very morning.

You are the lover of my soul,
You are the One who pursued a love relationship with me.
You turned my heart towards yourself
When I wanted nothing to do with you.
You are my Lord and my God,
Righteous, holy, yet full of love.
