Seven Judgments in Scripture ...

Last Night's Sermon Notes ...

Seven  Judgments in Scripture

1. Judgment of Believer's Sins — this takes place at the Cross (Rom. 5:9; 2 Cor. 5:21; Gal. 3:13)

2. Self-Judgment — part of the sanctification process. If we constantly judge ourselves, we won't have to be judged later by the Lord (1 Cor 11:31)

3. Judgment of Believer's "Works" — takes place at the Bema (udgment) Seat of Christ (Rom 14:10; 2 Cor 5:10; Matt. 12:36; Gal. 6:7)

4. Sheep and Goat Judgment — judgment of Gentiles living at the time of the Second Coming. This judgment occurs immediately after the return of Christ. Those who pass this judgment will enter the Millennial Kingdom because they cared for "the brethren" during the Tribulation (Matt. 25:31-46)

5. Judgment of those living in Israel at the Second Coming — determines their place in the Millennium (Zech 13:8-9; Isaiah 1:24-31)

6. Judgment of Angels — occurs after the Millennium (Jude 6)

7. White Throne Judgment — judgment of the wicked and the dead at the end of the Millennium (Rev. 20:11-15). The test is the possession of eternal life.
