You know me ... or, at least I think you do! I'm the one who drinks my coffee black. I like a bold, rich flavor, and I have found nothing better than Starbuck's Christmas Blend.

It only sells during the month of December and I enjoy it so much that I buy 3-4 pounds of it and freeze it so it will last (for awhile) for a few extra months.

Now, they have made the Christmas Blend an instant in their VIA line. I understand ... nothing is better that a fresh brewed cup of joe and in times past, I wrinkled my nose at instant coffee. For heaven's sake ... my Dad drank instant Sanka! Now that's some nasty stuff!

Linda and I had a 'date night' last night and we stopped in at a starbucks so she could get her "fru-fru" Ginger Bread Latte. I needed a box of the VIA instant Christmas Blend so I grabbed one and went to the counter. The barista advised me that for "today only" ... they were buy one get one free!

Well ... I bought THREE and got THREE FREE! (I have an addictive nature sometimes!). Now I have two boxes in Dallas, two boxes at the "Bunker" and two boxes at church. I think I might be set for a little while. Trust me on this ... you need to try this while it is available. You will thank me later.

P.S. Starbuck's has gone all "squiggly" about being politically correct so they offer the exact beans and blend in a bag marked Holiday Blend! No kidding ... some people who love the coffee won't buy the bag marked Christmas blend but will pick up the one labeled Holiday blend. Reminds me of some people who want to go to heaven but refuse to bow the knee to Jesus Christ.

I'm just sayin' ...
