For the next 2 weeks, we are in "Collection Mode" here at Cornerstone Baptist Church. We are a collection/distribution center for the SBC Disaster Relief for the "Buckets of Hope" for Haiti.



We have distributed 50 5-gallon buckets to our congregation to fill with food to help Haitian families during their time of need. I have been told to expect anywhere from a thousand to 50 thousand buckets to be delivered to our church in the next two weeks.

Pray for the Haitians ... pray for volunteers to assist us in preparing these buckets (palletizing and shrink-wrapping), and pray that this effort will bring glory to Jesus Christ. The SBC will affix labels to every bucket stating that this is a gift to the Haitian people from Southern Baptists. They will also attach the plan of salvation to every bucket.
