Many times during the Gemini and Apollo space missions, re-entry into the earth's atmosphere was delayed due to storms in the landing zone area or equipment malfunctions.

However, the return of Jesus Christ has been delayed by God Himself, not due to poor conditions or other man-made problems. God has delayed the return of His Son to allow a lost and dying world just a little more time to come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

The morning message today is "Delayed Re-entry: Why Christ hasn't returned to Earth Yet!" The text is from 2 Peter 3:1-12. We look at a Skeptical Question and a Scriptural Answer. I'll have my sermon notes up here on the web site this afternoon sometime.
