The Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) has 5,563 missionaries that your offerings support; 4,270 long-term and 1,293 short-term.

The goal for 2009 is $175 million dollars. That is a challenging goal and can only be accomplished when all SBC churches are involved. The receipts for the 2007 offering was $150.4 million. Over $3 billion dollars has been given since the offering's inception. The first offering received was in 1888 and totaled $3,315 dollars.
