Prepping the Turkey

Cornerstone is feeding the International Students at the BSM tonight and Gary Gober agreed to bring his turkey fryer up to the church and do up a couple of turkeys. Knowing that danger lurks around every corner when deep-frying a turkey, I made sure I had my camera ready to catch anything that happened.
It all started so innocently with Gary injecting the turkey with a marinade of oil and jalapeno juice. That'll get the student's attention.

The key is getting the oil up to 350 degrees before you put the turkey in. Right now, the oil is at 250 degrees with another 100 degrees to go.
It looks harmless enough, doesn't it?
Nothing bad can happen with propane, 350 degree oil, and a cold, wet turkey ... can it?
