OK ... what I didn't capture on film (because I was backing up rapidly) was the oil shooting straight up towards Gary's hands ... then he dropped the turkey to keep from getting scalded (remember the hot oil?) ... Oil was going everywhere and I got this shot as the flames were dying down.

Believe me, the flames were spectacular. The coathanger with hook? Look closely ... it's right there in the hot oil!
