The message this evening was, Giving Thanks. Psalm 35:18 says, "I will give thee thanks in the great congregation: I will praise thee among much people."

We give thanks because it pleases the Lord, it proclaims our gratitude, it provokes others to do good works, it produces contentment, and it portrays Christ.
