Although we take time out every November to give thanks for God's bounteous supply, we ought to be thankful every day of our lives. We are thankful for our families, our church, our country, and most of all, thankful to God for His gift to us of His Son, Jesus Christ.

I will be starting a new preaching series this coming Sunday that will run the month of November entitled, Giving Thanks: An Attitude of Gratitude. You don't want to miss any one of these messages that deal with family, church, country, and our relationship to God.

Then, on Thanksgiving day, we will once again serve our community a delightful Thanksgiving dinner. I would ask that you start planning right now to be a vital part of this outreach and ministry. You can help by cooking, setting up, washing dishes, delivering meals to those who cannot make it, and a whole lot more.

We do have a lot to be thankful for, don't we?
