Tomorrow appears to be an exciting day in the life of Cornerstone Baptist Church!

These last 2 1/2 months have been exhilarating for me as you have given me the opportunity to stand before you and preach the Word and to walk with you and get to know you.

I like the logo because it says The Best is yet to come! And, I truly believe that is the case. With a focus on Jesus and guidance by God's Holy Spirit, we can join hands together looking forward to the continued service in His vineyard.

Have there been hurts and disappointments? Yes. Are there relationships that need to be mended? Absolutely. Do we need to put aside things from the past? We do if we are to move forward. I try to stay focused on the positive, understanding that Cornerstone is made up of people with feelings, pains, and frustrations.

However, God calls us to press on ... to win the lost to Christ ... to love Him more and serve Him better. Do I have all the answers? No! But as I told some of the deacons not too long ago, if we would collectively fall on our faces before a Holy God and ask for His Wisdom and guidance, then we cannot fail.

I'll see you Sunday with a Bible in my hand, and a prayer in my heart that God would be glorified in all that we do.
