Think About It ...

Such Love

From birth, Nicodemus was raised as a Pharisee — living in obedience to the law. Every day he said his prayers and performed the rituals that would keep him right before God. It was a tedious life.

Nicodemus learned that God wanted more than just obedience to laws and regulations — God wanted a genuine relationship based on love.

You may think that in order to know God, you have to do certain things. Yet Jesus has already done everything necessary for you to be close to God. His love never binds you unmercifully to regulations or rituals. His love sets you free so you can love him in return.

John 3:16 AMP God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten [unique] Son.
