Today and tomorrow, the Criswell College is sponsoring an Expository Preaching Bible Conference at its campus located at 4010 Gaston Avenue, Dallas, TX. This will be two days of great preaching and after each message, there is a Q&A period where those attending can ask questions about sermon preparation.

I am registered and will be attending. Not only will I be able to hear some fine preaching, but I will also be able to "sharpen my own tools" during this time. As most of you know, I graduated from Criswell College with a B.A. in Bible and it is one of my best experiences. To graduate, every student must take one year each of Hebrew and Greek. You learn the original languages and you translate directly from the original text.

Now I am quick to say that you DO NOT need to know the original languages to understand what God has to say for you and your life. However, the difference can be compared to that of watching a black and white TV as opposed to watch a TV with full color.

Pray that God will use this time to increase my knowledge and abilities for His Kingdom.
